Hello! and welcome to MAST @ Homestead, I am your teacher, Ms. Ajileye (pronounced Ah-jee-lie) but most students prefer to call me "Ms.A". I have taught in Miami-Dade County for 8 years. Before that, I was a High school Science teacher in Broward County for 3 years.
I was born and raised in Miami Florida and I am a graduate from Miami Palmetto Sr. High School, Barry University and The University of Phoenix. I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter which you will all hear dozens of stories about and see many pictures of.
I have my degree and certification in Biology/ Education Administration & Supervision and I recently completed my Master's degree in December 2009.
On this site you will find a wealth of information that will aid you in being successful in this course. If you follow my rules and guidelines, this is not a very difficult class.
Every year I add more and more new and exciting labs, assignments and activities to my syllabus. I look forward to working together with you towards your goal of academic achievement and excellence in science.
Work hard, start to think about your future now and the sky is the limit for you.
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of my students as the year progresses. If there is anything that you need do not hesitate to ask.
Take care and Good Luck in the new school year!
~Ms. O. Ajileye
